STEP 1
MyEverBright is your online hub for managing your account:
Create your account by going to myeverbright.com or downloading the mobile app for iPhone or Android.
*Data availability is based on the system's configuration. For PPA customers, EverBright works with third-party provider Omnidian to ensure the system is working as expected and provides monitoring and maintenance at no additional charge as outlined in your agreement. If we detect an issue and need access to repair it, Omnidian will contact you. Original contracts signed prior to March 2023 may not include monitoring in MyEverBright.
Pay Your Solar Energy Bill
You'll receive a monthly statement from EverBright for your agreed-upon solar payment, which may help lower your electric utility bill.
Enroll in AutoPay
Save money on stamps, checks, and potential fees, and say goodbye to needing to remember to send your EverBright payment each month.
Pay Your Utility Bill
Since you are still connected to the grid, you'll continue to receive a bill from your local utility for the portion of your electricity usage not offset by the solar system, plus fees like connection charges and taxes.
Understanding how solar works can be confusing because of so much unfamiliar terminology. This glossary explains the key terms and concepts you need to know to navigate your solar journey confidently.
You probably know that solar energy harnesses the sun’s power to generate electricity for your home, but how does that happen? Learn how it works.
A little maintenance goes a long way to helping your solar panels operate efficiently. Learn how a little TLC can help ensure your panels are operating at peak efficiency.
Your solar panels are soaking up the rays, but the power goes out—and so does your solar system. Let's explore why this happens.
EverBright offers a variety of products that meet different homeowner needs. Whether the system was purchased or the power it produces is purchased monthly, your agreement is the best place to find all relevant details regarding your solar system. Please download the MyEverBright app for iPhone or Android or refer to your contract in the web portal to learn more.
Whether you own your system, lease the equipment, or purchase the power it produces, as a homeowner with an EverBright solar agreement, you are responsible for ensuring the panels are clean and free of debris, and shading from trees is consistent with what was true at the time the contract was signed. For contracts signed after February 2023, you must ensure internet is available for system monitoring. You are also responsible for ensuring monthly payments are made on time. If you have a power purchase agreement (PPA) or lease, avoid making unauthorized alterations and maintain a clear area for repairs; EverBright will provide repairs if needed, not including certain issues as outlined in your agreement. If you are a system owner (EverOwn), you are responsible for system repairs. You should familiarize yourself with the terms of your agreement which can be found in myeverbright.com or by downloading the app.
The benefits of an EverBright solar product include a potentially lower electric utility bill and the environmental benefits of using renewable energy. Additionally, EverBright offers live support and monitoring*, service and repairs if needed at no additional charge for PPAs and Leases, notwithstanding certain conditions such as extreme weather events or foreign objects that could cause equipment to break.
*Original contracts signed prior to March 2023 may not include monitoring in MyEverBright.
At this time, EverBright does not finance battery-add on projects.
Yes, you would need to start a new project in order to finance more panels to support the additional energy load.
Most systems are being monitored* for system performance which you can track in MyEverBright. If you have a power purchase agreement or PPA, someone from our third-party service provider Omnidian will contact you if the system isn’t performing as it should, to troubleshoot remotely or schedule a service call if one is required. If you have a retail installment contract or RIC, otherwise known as EverOwn, and you encounter issues with your solar system, you’ll most likely need to contact a reputable installer to service your solar system. If you need assistance, feel free to contact EverBright's customer support team at (877) 425-5201. We’re here to help!
*Original contracts signed prior to March 2023 may not include monitoring in MyEverBright.
Your system was designed with the previous owner’s energy usage profile. Depending on your energy habits, the solar system should help reduce your electric utility bills by generating electricity and reducing your reliance on the grid1. However, your system will continue to be tied to the utility grid, and you will still have a utility bill to cover things like interconnection fees, taxes, and energy use for times when your solar system may not be producing energy, like during inclement weather or at night.
1Your home's solar system was designed for the previous owner's energy needs and habits. Your savings could be different.
Typically, EverBright solar systems come with warranties that cover defects and performance issues. Check your agreement or get in touch with your installer for specific details about warranty coverage.
Most solar systems come with monitoring software or a companion app that allows you to track the system's performance in real time. You should have been given access to this monitoring tool as part of the transfer of ownership. You'll need to set up an online account in the homeowner portal at MyEverBright to access this monitoring data. If your contract was originally signed prior to March 2023, it may not include monitoring in MyEverBright.
If you sell your home or transfer ownership, contact EverBright at (877) 425-5201 at least 30 days and no more than 90 days prior to closing to discuss the transfer of the solar financing agreement to the new owner.
Homes with solar systems often have higher resale values1 because they offer the advantage of lower electricity costs to potential buyers. The presence of a solar system can be an attractive selling point and may help your home sell faster. For more information, read our blog.
