From a simple online form to expert installation and decades of support, EverBright guides every step of your solar journey.
STEP 1
Start by providing a few details about your home, like your address, the estimated age of your roof, and your current energy usage. This information will help us assess your home's solar potential and connect you with trusted local installers in your area.
STEP 2
We will connect you with a local solar professional, who will reach out to introduce themselves and schedule a home consultation. During this visit, they will discuss your energy goals and assess your roof's sun exposure, including any trees that could affect performance.
STEP 3
Your proposal includes the system design, recommended equipment, and an EverBright solar plan that features predictable rates and no upfront costs. Once you sign, and have an approved agreement in place, your solar installer will schedule a date for the installation, marking the official start of your clean energy journey.
STEP 4
With your agreement, system design, status of your installation, and system tracking all in one place, your solar journey stays seamless. Check the status of your installation, learn about each step of the progress, and stay updated through the MyEverBright app or at myeverbright.com.
STEP 5
After your installation is complete and the system is up and running, you can use the MyEverBright app or web portal to monitor its performance. These tools provide insights to help you understand and optimize your energy use, potentially leading to greater savings.

The installation timeline often depends on the system’s size and complexity. Other factors can impact timing like how long it takes to get local government permit approvals and your utility’s permission to operate. Your installer will manage the entire process and should keep you up to date.
EverBright provides homeowners with the opportunity to go solar with no upfront costs and connects them with trusted local installation professionals.
Your system was designed with the previous owner’s energy usage profile. Depending on your energy habits, the solar system should help reduce your electric utility bills by generating electricity and reducing your reliance on the grid. However, your system will continue to be tied to the utility grid, and you will still have a utility bill to cover things like interconnection fees, taxes, and energy use for times when your solar system may not be producing energy, like during inclement weather or at night.
Typically, EverBright solar systems come with warranties that cover defects and performance issues. Check your agreement or get in touch with your installer for specific details about warranty coverage.
Most solar systems come with monitoring software or a companion app that allows you to track the system's performance in real time. You should have been given access to this monitoring tool as part of the transfer of ownership. You'll need to set up an online account in the homeowner portal at MyEverBright to access this monitoring data. If your contract was originally signed prior to March 2023, it may not include monitoring in MyEverBright.
