EverBright is seeking a well-qualified candidate who is passionate about driving the clean energy revolution by providing solar companies with innovative software. As a product designer, you will be asked to:
Work closely with customers and other EverBright teams to develop smart and creative software solutions to the problems our customers face and ensure EverBright
Deliver modern, easy to use and intuitive software
Produce designs for all new software products and enhancements, including lo-fi mocks, hi-fi mocks, and prototypes for A/B testing
EverBright software is used to design, sell, finance, and install projects. This role will require a keen eye for creating simple, easy-to-use, eye-catching UI / UX designs for B2B customers as well as consumers.
Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to produce research insights that will drive the product direction
Communicate clearly with stakeholders to help align critical insights to the business need and timelines
Work closely with customers to understand their use of the software, gathering user requirements in collaboration with product managers
Work cross-functionally with product, engineer, sales, and operations to successfully deliver new platform designs that emphasize ease of use and aesthetic quality
Participate in collaborative design sessions with product managers and software engineers
Illustrate design ideas in Figma using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and what they will look like
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) using tools like Fullstory and Sentry and present proposed solutions
Conduct A/B testing and adjust designs appropriately based on user feedback
Create and maintain style guides, leading the standardization of fonts, colors and images across the platform and in all EverBright material
Experience working on complex products and/or SaaS products
Previous knowledge of solar industry concepts
Understanding of Agile work environments
Enjoy working on small design teams
Visual or graphic design experience
High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 3+ years
