Position Description

EverBright is driving the clean energy revolution through its industry-leading solar software platform and financing marketplace. Every day, EverBright supports hundreds of residential solar installers and home improvement contractors across the U.S., ensuring they have the tools to be successful and accelerate consumer adoption of clean energy. 

  • Assist in short term and long-term strategies and programs to increase sales and profitability.

  • Support sales growth by developing relationships with sales team and dealers.
  • Supports sales activities to maintain and nurture existing customer relationships.
  • Assist sales team in generating and developing new business. Including but not limited to efforts including sourcing prospective leads, research, scheduling appointments, and cold calling.
  • Support sales team by assisting in entering opportunities in CRM, preparing quotes and offer letters, and managing large projects.
  • Support accounts and key accounts with online content and product information.
  • Interacts with customers to assist in the sales process, providing them with information to address inquiries regarding products, order status, and product questions.
  • Works with customer service team in maintaining account database, opening accounts, updating and filing all related information.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports, tracking work as specified by manager.
  • Supports management team with reporting and data analysis.
  • Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of competition and of prevalent industry/business trends.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Overview

Employees in this role support the efforts of the sales team to increase revenue.

Job Duties

  • Assists with quotes, RFPs (Request for Proposals), and other quoting efforts to ensure accurate and timely proposals.

  • Submits load data requests and verify accuracy of account data.
  • Distributes leads to sales staff.
  • Assists with large projects to ensure accurate and timely quotes.
  • Assists with post-sales efforts to ensure timely and accurate implementation through billing of services.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales and/or marketing experience.

  • 2 or 4-year relevant educational degree from accredited academic institution.
  • Excellent demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED

  • Experience: 3+ years

  • Ability to learn technical products.
  • Ability to develop and maintain knowledge of competition, and industry/business trends.
  • Organized and detailed oriented.
  • Demonstrates ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.
  • Mastering communication and people skills externally and internally
  • Motivated, outgoing, and team-orientated personality.
