As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing tools, software and architectures that operationalize the EverBright software and hardware platforms. You will be responsible for applying your software and cloud expertise to enhance our industry-leading financial modeling, sales, and operations platform, facilitating seamless solar, storage, and energy efficiency installations for homeowners. You will play a critical role is scaling our application to meet the needs of our growing customer base.
Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable infrastructure alongside other team members.In addition to technical expertise, you should have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and mentor junior engineers on the team, and help set the technical direction for projects. You should be comfortable working in an agile development environment and have experience with agile methodologies.
What You Will Do:
This position writes and tests software to aid in development and support of products. Individuals in this role work with Technical Leads on software system architecture and service design and typically leads a module in the system. This position participates in required product development process ceremonies. Employees in this role are responsible for writing and refining technical requirements and technical design documentation.
