We are seeking a well-qualified candidate who is passionate about driving the clean energy revolution by building a best-in-class residential financing program. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be asked to:
Perform remote audits of residential photovoltaic (PV) solar installations.
Provide training and feedback to installation partners and internal team members.
This position will be responsible for ensuring EverBright partners are completing projects in accordance with our specifications and all applicable codes and standards. This role will require a deep understanding of residential solar installation best practices to confirm partners are adhering to our specified requirements.
Perform remote Quality Assurance checks of installed PV systems.
Ensure NextEra owned assets are installed according to applicable codes, standards, plans and specifications.
Communicate with NextEra partners and internal team members on any quality deficiencies.
Provide training on installation best practices.
Create detailed reports on the work quality of installation partners.
High School Grad / GED
Experience: 4+ years
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
3 years' experience in solar and electrical construction
Working knowledge of best practices for solar and solar + storage installations
Strong understanding of NEC codes with emphasis on residential PV installations
High attention to detail
Critical thinking and problem-solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
This position will be responsible for ensuring that partners complete projects in accordance with established specifications, codes and standards. Employees in this role plan, coordinate, and perform independent evaluations and assessments of activities in the field to ensure best practices and specified requirements are met.
Develops, implements, and maintains programs that focus on job quality, safety, and cost
Plans, coordinates, and performs independent evaluations and assessments of activities in the field
Consults partners and internal team members on any quality deficiencies
Implements strategies to improve processes to continually refine operations
Provides training to partners on best practices
Analyzes competitor data and trends to improve performance
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
