EverBright is seeking a well-qualified candidate who is passionate about driving the clean energy revolution by building a best-in-class residential financing program. We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join our high-performing Channel Partner Sales and Account Management team to build a productive bridge between EverBright and its regionally based channel partners. This position reports to the Director of Sales and is essential to the growth and performance of Everbright’s partner network.
Candidate must reside within one of the following regions with 60% travel required:
West Region: CA, AZ, TX
East Region: FL, NJ, MA, NY, CT
The Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for their assigned partner and drive revenue for our business by promoting and growing the use of EverBright products by our partners, helping them to resolve issues throughout a project lifecycle, and participating in the joint development of marketing and sales strategies. The Account Manager will have specific sales as well as account management targets and will be expected to perform to achieve quotas. The ideal candidate must have a high degree of sales acumen, be a team player, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
Drives our channel partners to meet or exceed business goals
Accurately forecasts on weekly, monthly and quarterly intervals and manages channel partner business to the achievement of sales and installation targets
Delivers training and effective coaching to our channel partners
Monitors progression on sales pipelines, troubleshoots issues, intervenes and drives results through influencing dealer behaviors
Collaborates with the sales and account management team and internal, cross-functional parties in support of partner success
Harvests new relationships, develops existing business and possesses the talent to sell at all levels of an organization
Overcomes challenges and find new paths forward to enable growth
Self-motivated and results-oriented with acute attention to detail and organization
Demonstrated success with strategic selling, negotiations and relationship management
Experience in managing a portfolio of customers to achieve revenue and share objectives, with a track record of quota attainment
A proven track record in working in a target-driven environment; previous experience carrying a sales quota
Ability to use sound judgment and effective sales techniques to manage existing accounts as well as cross sell on value-add products and services
Ability to collaborate, present and sell at all levels of an organization up to C-Suite
Ability to be successful in an ambiguous environment inclusive of continuous improvements and stretch targets
Ability to produce data, draw conclusions and develop key insights as they pertain to partner and market level activity
Willingness to travel 60% + by car/plane throughout territory with occasional travel to Everbright’s headquarters in FL
Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business.
Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
Sales, account management or business development experience
Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
A high level of energy, motivation, initiative, commitment, and professionalism
Excellent time management and discipline to handle many demos, calls, and meetings each day
Ability to learn new technology and procedures Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, especially Salesforce
A high degree of empathy toward customers and a strong desire to ensure high customer satisfaction
Previous experience in the solar and/or renewable energy industry; previous experience with B2B software
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
Excellent telephone and general customer service skills
Employees in this role are responsible for selling high-value energy performance contracting solutions in an assigned territory.
Develops and executes strategic and tactical sales plans to drive profitable revenue growth while meeting operating targets
Collaborates with marketing, operations, legal, finance, and other key stakeholders to improve customer acquisition, service, and retention
Develops account management plans and builds and expands customer relationships to maximize long term account growth
Monitors the market and territory and proactively prospects to develop new business opportunities and a strong pipeline
Understands new technologies and products and services and sells a full portfolio of energy related solutions
Maintains an accurate and updated opportunity pipeline and provides accurate forecasting information by utilizing CRM system
Executes the sales process consistently and fully applies consultative sales methodologies and techniques to drive competitive differentiation and deal closure
Monitors external environment, competitive trends, and Voice of the Customer (VOC) information to communicate to marketing about new product/services
Ensures proper controls and compliance in accordance with corporate policy and procedures Performs other job-related duties as assigned
