EverBright is seeking a well-qualified candidate who is passionate about driving the clean energy revolution by building a best-in-class residential financing program. We are looking for a talented Director of Sales to join our high-performing Channel Partner Sales and Account Management team to build a productive bridge between EverBright and its regionally based channel partners. This position reports to the VP of Sales and is essential to the growth and performance of Everbright’s partner network.
This Director of Sales is responsible for the management of the inbound/outbound sales functions and accountable for assigned EBIT. Leaders in this role define and plan the achievement of sales goals and objectives. This position develops, implements, and improves processes through identification of operational, sales, and technological changes.
Manage a portfolio of customers to achieve revenue and share objectives
Identifies sales opportunities and works with internal technical and operations teams to grow profitable revenue for the company
Serves as a liaison to other department management counterparts on cross-business unit opportunities
Manages relationships with existing clients and vendors and develops new contacts
Manages the recruitment, training, development, motivation, and retention of sales force teams
Monitors customer feedback to measure performance and identify best practices to drive process improvement
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
A high level of energy, motivation, initiative, commitment, and professionalism
Excellent time management and discipline to handle many demos, calls, and meetings each day
Ability to learn new technology and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, especially Salesforce
A high degree of empathy toward customers and a strong desire to ensure high customer satisfaction
Previous experience in the solar and/or renewable energy industry; previous experience with B2B software
Willingness to travel by car/plane throughout territory with occasional travel to Everbright’s headquarters in FL
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
Excellent telephone and general customer service skills
This job is responsible for selling fixed-price, indexed, and complex structured energy supply contracts for commercial and industrial customers. This includes prospecting new business opportunities, developing strategic plans and identifying process improvements. Leaders in this job oversee the implementation activities between Gexa Energy and other parties, including maintaining vendor relationships and agreements, and identifying business development opportunities. The primary performance metrics are sales margin and deal profitability. This role will have team management responsibilities.
Maximizes sales through effective territory management
Provides input in planning and directing all aspects of the company’s sales strategies, objectives and initiatives
Develops pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high-profile customers and channel partners
Implements business plan to effectively manage assigned market segment
Maintains existing key customer relationships
Develops and implements strategies for expanding the company's customer base
Ensures deals and contracts are flowing through the transaction process in accordance with risk management procedures
Establishes performance goals for direct reports and monitors performance on a continual basis
Ensures that the market transactions systems are processing deals correctly and contracts are flowing through the sales and contract administration process
Ensures that key metrics are being tracked and reported to management
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
