Channel Sales Managers are responsible for recruiting new partners and building a high-performing network of channel partners. Recruiting new partners includes identifying potential partners and vetting new partners through the qualification and onboarding process. Building a high-performing network includes training and onboarding partners, assisting partners with revenue generating activities, and participating in the development of business strategies to help grow the business.
Represent EverBright in a professional and engaging manner to channel partners
Identify, recruit and vet channel partners through the qualification/onboarding process
Assist partners with revenue-generating activities (i.e., webinars, workshops and, etc.)
Provide training to channel partners to ensure compliance
Provide current industry/competitive information to employees and senior management
Negotiate contracts with partners and customers
Work in a fast-paced environment
The Channel Sales Manager is essential to the growth and performance of EverBright's channel network. Responsibilities include managing the defined revenue and volume objectives for channel partners, ensuring effective implementation of strategies designed to meet/exceed goals, and contributing to the overall sales and volume objectives of the EverBright sales and account management organization. The ideal candidate must work independently, with limited supervision, and be highly engaging and professional, a positive team player, possess a strong focus on customer satisfaction, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
Ensures effective implementation of the strategies designed to obtain Company goals and objectives
Contributes to the budgeting, reforecasting and annual planning process to assure sufficient resources are available to meet outlined objectives
Gathers and distributes industry information to ensure employees are aware of current industry trends
Gathers and forwards competitive information to ensure senior management is aware of current market trends
Identifies and recruits potential partners by vetting new partners through the qualification and onboarding process
Manages commission payout to partners
Assists partners with revenue generating activities (webinars, conference calls, lunch and learns, etc.)
Negotiates contracts with partners and customers
Trains all new and existing partners, partners’ employees and sub agents
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 8+ years
Supervisor/Management Experience:2+ years
Ability to recruit and manage channel partners
Excellent time management and discipline to handle multiple major activities daily
Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience in the solar and/or renewable energy industry
A high level of energy, motivation, initiative, commitment, and professionalism
Excellent telephone and general customer service skills
High degree of customer empathy and a strong desire to ensure customer satisfaction
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, and able to learn new technologies
Previous experience with B2B software
This job is responsible for managing the defined revenue and volume objectives for Channel Partners. Leaders in this job provide direction to Channel sales associates related to product knowledge and selling techniques.
